      Software Prerequisites

      The MOD_PERL for OpenVMS kit requires that the following 
      software is installed before you install MOD_PERL: 

           OpenVMS IA64 Version 8.2 or later 
           Secure Web Server Version V2.1 for OpenVMS or later
           Perl for OpenVMS V5.8-6
